Unstyled error pages in Textpattern

Another daft Textpattern-ism I’ve discovered this weekend is that error pages in Textpattern are styled using the css sheet – “default”.

This is due to the way that specific css styles re called dependant on the sections they exist within. Of course in the case of an error 404 the content does not exisit so picks up no default section ergo it gets the style named “default” instead.

So… If you have no style called default any more (those of us who like to tidy up after ourselves for example!) you’d better create a new one!
